C3D Launches 3D.COM Site

Chequemate International (which is calling itself C-3D Digital) unveiled 3D.com (http://www.3d.com) a 3-D virtual reality portal.

Visitors can see and interact with 3D objects, online games, 3D streaming, and other content.

"The launch of 3D.COM establishes a key pillar of our business plan,"declared J. Micheal Heil, Chairman and CEO of C3D Digital. "Our strategy tomove convergence into the third dimension is now becoming a reality. Today,we're able to move 3D content from C-3D Television and stream it over the webusing 3D.COM technology. Conversely, the network is taking content from 3D.COMand moving it into the realm of 3D television. This is just the beginning ofwhere C-3D is taking digital media."

The company operates C3D Television, the first network to offer 24-hour, 7 days a week 3D stereoscopic programming and also owns Strata Software, a producer of 3D graphic software.

3D.COM also said it formed 3D.COM Consulting, a training and support team consulting unit.
