Channelseek Premieres Printed

Channelseek (http://www.channelseek.com) announced the introduction of its "Channelseek Guide", a printed streaming media guide to Internet broadcasting.

The idea is something like a "TV Guide" for the Internet, but this free guide's core audience is broadband users. It has listings, but also feature stories like hot broadband websites, "Top Five" links through the Channelseek.com website and site reviews.

The Channelseek Guide is being distributed by broadband providers like Sprint Wireless Broadband Group, Sprint DSL, Urban Communications, GotWebb, and the ISP Channel through direct mail, billing inserts, and retail outlets such as Sprint PCS stores. Future issues will be available to the public by subscribing online.

Initial circulation for the Guide is set at nearly 100,000 copies. By year's end, Channelseek expects total circulation to reach over two million.

"Most Internet-savvy people have heard about high-speed broadband access, but there's a significant number who haven't signed up because they can't figure out what's in it for them," said Tom Britt, Channelseek chief executive officer. "The Channelseek Guide is designed to fill exactly that need, showcasing the future of Internet-delivered audio and video entertainment in a familiar format."
