Chello Broadband Signs Distribution Deal with Yack.com

Chello Broadband has announced a distribution deal with the Internet program guide Yack.com. Through the agreement, an entertainment-based broadband version of the Yack guide, Fast.Yack.com, will be provided to Chello users throughout Europe, Latin America and Australasia. Fast.Yack will offer a database of upcoming Internet events, including streaming media and chats, and Yack's e-mail reminder service.

"We are delighted to be offering Fast Yack on the Chello portal," said Rob Shepherd, managing director of interactive services at Chello Broadband. "Chello's subscribers currently have access to a diverse portfolio of interactive multimedia content, and this distribution deal with Yack.com will expand broadband options even further."

The distribution deal is part of Chello's philosophy of showcasing global broadband content, combined with local services.
