Dailymotion Debuts Original Web Series 'Ben and Burman'
Video sharing site Dailymotion is getting into the original content with the series Ben and Burman, debuting today in a two-episode series premiere. The twelve-episode show focuses on two roommates with opposing personalities. Ben is a neat freak, while Burman is a mooch and a screw-up.
The series stars Ben Giroux, known for his recurring role as Danny DePeetro on Nickelodeon's Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, and Scott Burman, a writer, actor, and member of Chicago's Second City improv group. Both are also producers of the show.
Dailymotion says that this is only the beginning of its work with original content.
"Dailymotion provides users with fully licensed, high quality video content across all digital devices. Our broadcast of the original web series ‘Ben and Burman' is part of the huge range of free localized and global packages we offer users, spanning music, film, news, sports, or Dailymotion's own content. We are confident that this is a first step towards delivering even more excellent new content that will continue to grow our audience and revenue across the globe," says Daniel Adams, head of international content at Dailymotion.
The first episode of the series involves a romantic date being interrupted by the threat of brain-eating zombies, while Ben finds a better roommate in the second episode.
