Eloquent Releases Communications Server 6.0
Eloquent Inc (http://www.eloquent.com) today introduced the Eloquent Communications Server (ECS) 6.0.
The company is billing the release as an advance in the management and delivery of streaming content for the enterprise.
Eloquent believes that rich media communications are increasingly becoming more integral to business communication, making the organization and management of rich media more crucial. The ECS 6.0 provides customers with a user-enabled platform to build discussion chains, synchronize the appearance of a document within a streaming presentation, and other search, navigation and analysis features.
The server comes with the capability to both serve and manage content in Real, Windows Media, and Eloquent's proprietary format.
Eloquent previously sold its servers with only its own propriety format preinstalled, although the Real format was available on CD.
"It used to be a tool for pushing eloquent content, but we've decided to expand the choices available to the consumer," said Brian, an inside sales representative.
The server is available now with prices beginning at $125,000.
