Encoding.com Re-Launches Site; Expands Developer Program
Blip.tv isn't the only company re-launching its web presence today: Encoding.com has also rolled-out a new look. The cloud encoder's site includes better organized API documentation. It also offers XML code for common workflow tasks, letting developers add Encoding.com's services to their existing processes.
Encoding.com has also improved its Knowledge Base, including best practices from the company's experts.
At the same time, Encoding.com has expanded its Developer Program. Developers can now sign up for free accounts that give them 1GB of video encoding bandwidth per month, improved API documentation, and use of the refreshed Knowledge Base. No credit card is required to sign up for an account.
"Video application developers are the key drivers in the video ecosystem and it has always been a priority for us to provide the best tools possible to empower and support their innovations," says Jeff Malkin, president of Encoding.com.

Encoding.com is currently used by over 1,700 companies in areas such as media and entertainment, e-learning, retail, and telecommunications.
