Excalibur Announces Screening Room 2.2
Excalibur's Screening Room Version 2.2 (http://www.excalib.com), an upgrade release of its video management system was announced today.
Excalibur Screening Room lets users capture, manage, re-purpose and publish video content.
Screening Room V2.2 delivers the latest advances in state-of-the-art video content management technology and represents the next evolutionary step in the development of the ASPenVM (Application Service Provider Enabled Network for Video Management) software architecture that Excalibur announced in late 1999 at Streaming Media West.
New capabilities and features include new administration wizards, new capture client, export facility and a new browser interface.
"Version 2.2 builds on Screening Room's unparalleled accuracy, intelligence and scalability to provide the most comprehensive, extensible and adaptable video encoding, indexing and distribution solution available anywhere in the market today," says David Nunnerley, senior vice president and general manager of the Excalibur Media Services Group.
Screening Room V2.2 is currently being beta tested and will be released within 60 days, says the company.
