Eyepartner Brings Live and On-Demand Video to WordPress Sites
Software development company Eyepartner has released a WordPress module that lets site creators bring TikiLive video to their WordPress sites. TikiLive is Eyepartner's platform for broadcasting HD or SD video live or on-demand. The module is free to use.
The TikiLive platform gives content creators the option to stream free content or charge per view. Users can brand their videos, track viewing and click-through numbers, and insert pre-, mid-, or post-roll overlays.
"We are excited to offer our TikiLive broadcasters yet another option for serving their own HD video-on-demand and live channel using WordPress," says Tim Green, Eyepartner's CEO and president.
The new WordPress module lets TikiLive customers customize their templates. The account administer is in charge of setting the default themes and templates, but individual users have the ability to create their own themes. Eyepartner notes that WordPress currently has more than 60 million users.
TikiLive offers free broadcaster accounts for those who want to try out the platform. For hosted video, the company charges $250 per month for 1TB of streaming video or $500 per month for 10TB of streaming video.
