Jilion Creates a Public Demo of its Real-Time Statistics
Jilion SA, a Swiss company that offers the SublimeVideo HTML5 video player, has created a live demo to show off its real-time statistics feature. The company introduced real-time stats in a November, 2011, update.
Viewing the demo requires a browser that supports HTML5. The stats feature, however, can pull data from any device, whether desktop or mobile running HTML5 or Flash. The live demo shows stats for the SublimeVideo.net site.
According to Zeno Crivelli, co-founder of Jilion, this offering stands out as it provides real-time data and an overview of all the devices that viewers are using to watch a site's video.
Moving forward, Jilion plans to works with its online community to create features that enhance real-time online video interactions.
A company blog post provides some "under the hood" details on how Jilion created the statistics viewer from the ground up. Real-time stats are available to customers with Plus and Premium paid SublimeVideo accounts. Those using the free service are limited to stats from the last 24 hours.
Jilion introduced the SublimeVideo free service, the $9.90 per month Plus plan, and the $49.90 per month Premium plan in November, 2011.
