Liquid Player Five Now Available

Liquid Audio (http://www.liquidaudio.com) announced the release of its fifthgeneration music player software today. The software is currently available for download on their website.

The company believes that Liquid Player Five simplifies the digital music experience by making Internet music formats, security and digital rights management (DRM) systems easy-to-use and transparent to consumers.

The new features of Liquid Player Five include a FastTrack security feature. This security feature was developed in concert with Internet retailers. The feature is designed with the hope that it will set new standards for the consumer friendly consumption of secure content on both the Mac and Windows platforms.

In addition to FastTrack security, the new Liquid Player Plus version of the software is designed to deliver secure compatibility with CD-RW drives and portable digital devices. With Liquid Player Five users can stream, download, purchase, play back and burn audio CDs from one application.

Liquid Player Five with new FastTrack Security is to be deployed on several internet retailers' sites. They include retailers such as Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com.
