LiveWave Shows Off Sharks at Discovery.com

Live webcam programmer LiveWave (http://www.livewave.com) announced a two-year licensing agreement with Discovery.com ( http://www.discovery.com) to launch a streaming video intiative.

The venture launched during the Discovery Channel's "Shark Week" (Aug. 13-20), and will incorporate LiveWave's "ConvergenceCam" into Discovery's online programming.

The cam at the New England Aquarium is home to various marine life, including several different shark species. LiveWave will produce daily live webcasts for Discovery.com throughout "Shark Week," featuring shark feedings and underwater Q&A's with New England Aquarium's expert divers.

These live camera feeds can be broadcast to the Internet, and even TV.
