Loudeye Opens Office In Santa Monica
Loudeye said today they've opened a "digital media center" inSanta Monica, California, conceivably to be closer to Hollywood.
Seattle-based Loudeye has been branching out of late and has offices in Chicago, Atlanta, New York, San Francisco and London.
The Santa Monica office will do sales and marketing as well as consulting and encoding. Loudeye says the office will specialize in encoding of feature-length films, movie trailers, TV commercials and promotions.
"We have numerous customers in Southern California, particularly from themedia and entertainment industries, who will benefit from our digital mediacenter," said Martin Tobias, minister of order and reason, founder and CEO,Loudeye Technologies Inc. "When building the Santa Monica digital mediacenter, we mirrored our industry leading Seattle facility by using best ofbreed technologies and implementing proven processes, maintaining ourreputation as the highest quality, scalable, and high volume digital mediaproduction lab in the industry."
