MLB All-Star Game to Be Streamed Live for First time: Fox Sports
Fox Sports has good news for those who can't be home for the MLB All-Star game on Tuesday, July 15, but still want to catch the action: The network will stream the game live to the FoxSportsGo.com website and the Fox Sports Go app. The app is available for iOS, Android, and Kindle phones and tablets, as well as some Windows devices.
Fox Sports Go is an authenticated service, so only select pay TV customers will be able to view the stream. AT&T U-verse, Comcast Xfinity, Midcontinent Communications, Cablevision Optimum, Suddenlink, Wow, Cable One, and Cox customers will be able to sign in. Missing from the list are DirecTV, Dish, and Time-Warner, among others.
The All-Star game takes place in beautiful Minneapolis, Minnesota, this year, and begins at 7:30PM ET. Fox will begin its live stream at 4:30 ET with a three-hour pregame show. The broadcaster will offer two live streams for the event: one in English and one in Spanish.
Fox Sports Go is streaming a lot more baseball than just the All-Star game. This season it's live streaming nearly 100 MLB games, including all the games broadcast on Fox and Fox Sports 1. It will also live stream the National League Division Series, the National League Championship Series, and the World Series.
