Media 100’s Terran Interactive Releases Cleaner 5
Terran Interactive (http://www.terran.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of streaming media conglomerate Media 100, today announced the release of the latest version of its flagship product, Cleaner 5 - a streaming media design tool.
Touted as the "first complete camera-to-web streaming solution," among the product's tools is the ability for web designers and broadcasters to embed multidimensional instructions directly into the streaming content for an interactive and enhanced user experience, says the company.
"Cleaner 5 presents a valuable proposition for the web designer or Internet broadcaster looking to create a new Internet experience, using streaming media as the catalyst for innovation and interactivity," said John Molinari, CEO of Media 100, in a statement.
Terran Interactive also announced two upgrade options for Cleaner 5: Cleaner MPEG Charger and Cleaner MPEG SuperCharger. Both upgrades aim to provide optimized media encoding options for DVD, Video CD, CD-ROM and digital broadcasting right out the box, says Terran.
Cleaner 5 will begin shipping in October 2000 with a suggested retail price of $599. Existing Media Cleaner customers can upgrade to Cleaner 5 for $179.
