Medium4.com Announces Wireless Streaming Video Plans

Medium4.com (http://www.medium4.com) said today that it is developing content for wireless devices.

Medium4.com started its Very Small Screen (VSS) initiative, developed in conjunction with the company's Japanese affiliate ForeignTVJapan and the company's European Operations Center in Paris.

"As we have across the rest of the streaming media business, Medium4.com is determined to lead the industry in the delivery and ease of use of video content to wireless devices,'' said Jonathan Braun, CEO, Medium4.com.

The announcement today was rather low on specifics, but signified a good step towards a world with wireless delivery of video. Other companies that have made deals for wireless multimedia are providers Loudeye along with software makers ActiveSky and PacketVideo.Medium4.com is a producer of Internet entertainment programming. It has over 90 channels in a variety of topics.
