POPcast Unveils POPblaster Streaming Software
POPcast (www.popcast.com) announced that it is releasing its POPblaster software for encoding and streaming media publishing. It is also optimized for Intel's Pentium 4 processor.
The company says the software is similar to POPcast's existing POPcaster product. POPblaster allows users to capture video through many capture devices (including Webcams, camcorders and VCRs) and combine digital video files with text, still images and audio.
The software can be customized and branded forPOPcast's clients (like ISPs, telcos, corporationsand portals).
Intel's new Intel Pentium 4 processor has advancedmultimedia performance targeted to3-D, streaming video, and other high performance environments.
"With its faster pipeline and Intel's Netburst micro-architecturetechnology, the Pentium 4 processor will provide an unprecedenteddigital media authoring and broadcasting experience for POPblasterusers," said William Mutual, POPcast's founder and chairman.
