Pinnacle Systems Announces StreamFactory Encoding System

Pinnacle Systems (http://www.pinnaclesys.com) announced a new product, StreamFactory, to go along with an updated StreamGenie streaming product.

StreamFactory is a rack-mounted professional hardware tool for encoding live or previously produced content. It includes a Serial Digital (SDI) connection, composite, Y/C, YUV, and balanced analog stereo audio. StreamFactory can convert one audio/video source into a RealNetworks SureStream or Microsoft Windows Media file.

The updated StreamGenie has been built with a new "travel-friendly" all-metal chassis and includes international keyboard kits for many foreign languages. It also includes a 12-channel audio mixer and can be purchased with a dual encode option, like the StreamFactory.

StreamGenie with the dual encode option is $23,999 while the base version is $19,999. StreamFactory ranges in price from $9,999 to $12,999 depending on configurations.
