Prowebcast To Unveil Castivision

Webcasting company ProWebCast (http://www.prowebcast.com) said it was launching Castivision, a new interactive webcast service next week.

With Castivision viewers can watch programming while interacting with other viewers in real time, vote or take part in polls. Essentially it's a whole interactive experience.

"Castivision takes viewing Internet broadcasts to an entirely new level for both viewers and advertisers, " said Crawford Grimsley, CEO of ProWebCast. "For example, viewers can watch a webcast, make purchases, enter a chat room to discuss the event and vote or participate in polls. This is the type of interactive experience viewers want, to truly be part of the show."

Castivision features streaming audio/video ads during Webcast breaks, as well as some banner ads.
