Qumu Updates Video Control Center with Mobile Support
Qumu, a business video platform provider, announced a variety of updates today for its Video Control Center (VCC). VCC 6.2 gains mobile device support covering Apple, Google, and Microsoft tablets and smartphones.
Mobile device support includes streaming of both live videos and employee generated content. As smartphones become lifelines for mobile workers, those employees can now get a rich video experience anywhere they go. The platform works with HTML5 and native apps on mobile devices.
Delivering video to mobile users becomes easier with new Qumu Pathfinder technology, which lets companies provide a single link and be sure that it will work with any device and any platform.
Enterprise video becomes more like mainstream video, with new support for interactive live events, ratings, and comments. This version even includes improved security, with video player watermarking visible on every platform.
