Stre.am Debuts White Label Live Video Service for Brands
With the consumer live video market growing more crowded by the day, live video service Stre.am is turning its attention to businesses and brands. The company announced Stre.am Enterprise today, a white label service that lets companies create live video experiences within their own properties. Boasting of its sub two-second latency for live, Stre.am says that Enterprise customers can deploy and operate their own live video player to desktop or mobile viewers.
Stre.am Enterprise works through a browser interface, where customers can administer their streams and add contributors. They can also set on-demand video that plays when there isn't a live stream. The admin console creates an embed code that can be used on any page.
“There’s nothing more immediate than live content, but incorporating live video holistically into premium media programming—up-leveling the quality and delivery of live video in the process—is what we’re doing for numerous Stre.am Enterprise partners," says Stre.am CMO Will Jamieson.
This isn't Stre.am's first time working with corporate customers. It partnered with last week's Volvo Car Open tennis tournament, for example, where five courts were equipped with multiple cameras each. Live viewers were able to tap to select the court or angle they wanted to view.
“Stre.am helps us deliver a new level of entertainment to our fans, while generating new branding opportunities for our sponsors,” says Bob Moran, director of the Volvo Car Open.
