TEN-TV Gets $5 Million in Funding
TEN-TV (www.tentv.com), a provider of business-to-business video portal applications, announced that it has secured $5 million from Crest Communications Holdings, LLC. The new series C funding brings total investment in TEN-TV to $18 million.
"With this investment, our company is now fully funded," said Bruce Hanson, president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of TEN-TV.
TEN-TV is a provider of streaming services such as video production and hosting. It also has a video search engine called VideoMining. The company said it sees extraordinary growth opportunities in the next two to three years.
"Crest has made a strong commitment to TEN-TV because of its sound business plan and experienced management team. We believe its service and product offerings provide lasting value to the growing number of institutions utilizing the Internet for video communications," said James R. Kuster, managing director, Crest Communications Holdings and a member of the TEN-TV Board of Directors.
The company also announced a new marketing department, headed by Karen A. Verelley. who hails from MessageClick, Inc.
