Videojug Launches Community Site

Article Featured Image

How-to online video powerhouse Videojug is taking its expertise and using it to launch a new site. Videojug Pages also focuses on how-to video, but organizes it into communities centered on various interests.

Videojug Pages offers a financial incentive for video makers to contribute their work. The site will run video and display advertisements from Videojug's existing ad network, and will split the revenue fifty-fifty with the video creators.

The site's organizers are hoping that individuals and organizations of all types-including professionals, industry experts, charities, and government groups-will share their knowledge and opinions with the Videojug Pages audience. Commercial brands can also contribute by creating branded content hubs, then sponsoring the ads on those pages. Panasonic is the first brand to take advantage of the opportunity, creating a hub to offer photography advice.

Community tools on Videojug Pages let content creators create topic forums. Hubs are organized hierarchically, making them easier to browse.

"The launch of Videojug Pages is a natural step in Videojug's evolution.  We are aiming to be a destination for anyone seeking best advice on how to 'Get Good at Life'," says Tom Laidlaw, Videojug's CEO.
