WildTangent Powers Games on Winamp Player

WildTangent (www.wildtangent.com) said it released some 3D games for use with Nullsoft's Winamp player. WildTangent's games like Space Rocks,PigPen, Blasterball, GemMaster and Speedway are now available as "plug-ins" which run within the Winamp mini-browser.

WildTangent is the developer of "web driver" technology that lets programmers create interactive games that require very short download times.

"We are very excited to continue our successful work with WildTangentonthis project," said Steven Blumenfeld, General Manager of Nullsoft. "Winampis all about entertainment and this development brings a new dimensiontothe Winamp experience that's a natural fit - games!"

The games are available now at the Winamp.com site.
