eScene Upgrades Training Application

eScene (www.escene.com) said that it released StreamLine 2.2, an upgrade of its web-based streaming application. StreamLine lets users manage, publish and distribute rich media for training and learning.

The upgrade of its media management component lets several instructors work with a common set of media files, grouped by class, lesson, subject, or any grouping specific to their organization. Programs can share streaming audio, video, or downloadable files such as documents or presentations, and feature the same files in multiple lessons.

Advanced workgroup permissions allow content owners the ability to control, edit, and view rights for media groups or a single item.

StreamLine 2.2 also incorporates new tracking and reporting capabilities that make it easy to track user progress. It also integrates into Content Delivery Network (CDN) providers systems.
