iClips Allows Florida Residents To Speak Out

As if Floridians weren't getting enough of a tarnished reputation, streaming messaging company iClips (www.iclips.com), has set up an online soapbox where Florida residents can vent their opinions about the never-ending Presidential election in the Sunshine State. Located at "whoshouldwin.com," more than 160 video interviews showcase the heated and varying opinions of the state's residents.

Some of the more colorful responses range from Janna in Corral Springs who decries that "they stole" her president (George W. Bush) and she wants to monitor the recount herself. While Jackie from Boca Raton doesn't see how Bush could be qualified to be president considering he failed to finish his 12-step Alcoholics Anonymous program.

Michael Diamond, CEO of iClips, said the idea for the concept came up just last Friday. Soon after, the company sent a team of three staff members to conduct interviews in Palm Beach County, Florida. After two days of shooting interviews, the team returned back to iClips' New York headquarters and encoded the video clips in-house. After purchasing the domain name "whoshouldwin.com" for $35, the site launched on Tuesday.

"This project demonstrates the power of streaming video communication on the Web," said Diamond. "With the interest in this election, we're seeing the viral nature of streaming video played out."

Not a content destination site, iClips (iclips.com) is a provider of free Internet-based streaming video services and has working partnerships with Homestead.com and TheGlobe.com.
