Streaming Media East Program and Agenda Now Available Online
The 2015 Streaming Media East conference promises to be the most exciting in many years, and to help attendees prepare for it the program and agenda are now available on the conference website.
The Monday before the conference is now home to Streaming Media University, a day of intensive certificate study sessions that take attendees from beginner to expert in a matter of hours. Choose a full-day course in aerial video drone training, or half-day sessions in building an open-source encoding workflow, encoding for multiscreen delivery, web player development, live streaming via the cloud, and online video marketing. Monday is also the day of the related Content Delivery Summit.
Conference sessions begin on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday. This year, Scott Olechowski, founder and chief product officer of media-streaming service Plex will deliver a keynote address.
Streaming Media East 2015 will feature five conference tracks: four available to Conference, Gold, and Platinum Pass holders, and a Discovery Track that’s open to those who buy the low-price ($95) Discovery Pass. The Discovery Track lets attendees learn about cutting-edge video technology directly from the vendors themselves.
This year’s Streaming Media East conference program includes a how-to track that offers step-by-step instructions from experts, as well as an all-new OTT track.
"The show will feature a new OTT track, giving broadcasters, MSOs, and premium content owners a place to showcase their latest platforms and discuss the keys to unlocking the potential of OTT and TV Everywhere and its impact on the market,” says conference chairman Dan Rayburn.
Streaming Media East 2015 will take place May 12 and 13 at the New York Hilton Midtown.
