Osprey Video: 2016 Online Video Industry Predictions
In today’s fast-paced world, video is rapidly supplanting printed media as the best solution for information delivery. Video distribution allows us to deliver more information in a shorter period of time, with the added benefit of content visualization. Given how connected everyone is, online video and live streaming are key for fast and accurate global reach.
At Osprey Video we are energized by this evolution in video, and we are working hard to get the best and the highest-quality products to market as demanded by our clients. You’ll find our products in mission-critical applications, from broadcast to government installations to space missions, so our focus is on high quality and solid dependability. That’s why our upcoming streaming solutions build on the leading technology from our Osprey Video capture cards and drivers.
We are excited to announce new hardware and software encoding and decoding products for the first quarter of 2016. The first half of 2016 will also see our first 12G SDI and 4k/60 HDMI 2.0 capture cards.
Since most of our clients are looking for complete solutions, we are also developing accessories such as distribution amplifiers and video converters to complete our portfolio.
Osprey Video has its own integrated manufacturing facility where we proudly produce all of our products in the USA. One of our key differentiators is the flexibility to design customer-specific products with quick prototyping and production turnarounds — a benefit that will help us and our customers stay relevant long into the future.
As one of the leading companies in the video-streaming business, with over 20 years of experience, we are excited to see what the future will bring.
