Go In-Depth on CMAF and Machine Learning at Streaming Media West

Are you planning a move to CMAF to optimize your HLS and DASH strategies in your near future? Are you trying to index dark video data with machine learning services more effectively? What about streaming engineering tools, need some goodies to help you diagnose that next important streaming event? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then rest easy that RealEyes Media will be at Streaming Media West to help answer them for you.

BlogIf you can make it on Monday, Nov 18th, register to attend our extended three-hour workshops. In the morning, it will be all about CMAF, and we'll cover video machine learning customizations and training in the afternoon.

We'll cover several topics when it comes to CMAF. How it works, how it's put together, and many of the benefits that it can provide. If you're trying to cut down on your video storage costs, we got you covered. If you are trying to figure out a path forward with DRM, we've got you covered. Low latency streaming? Guess what, we've got you covered.

Is it that CMAF doesn't float your boat? How about machine learning? For instance, are you curious as to what's out there that can be used to detect all the videos of you and your best friend among a library of thousands? Maybe you are looking to count the number of guys wearing pantaloons at your events?

On Monday afternoon, we'll be giving a workshop on video machine learning customization and training. We'll cover some use cases like best friends and pantaloons to get you thinking about that next big app you want to build. We'll show you some solutions that are out there that allow you to customize ML predictions and "train" these off the shelf solutions.  We'll also cover training models to make sure they're finely tuned and ready to work for you.

Too late to make plans with us on the 18th? Not a problem. We'll be giving much shorter follow-up talks on CMAF and video ML during the week, as well. Don't forget about video engineering tools because we'll be talking about those too. Does simulating live events with a piece of VOD content instead of having to spin up an encoder sound interesting? Does the ability to monitor and navigate through the internals of an ABR HLS or DASH stream while it's playing in a browser sound like something you'd want to do? There are tools for that, and we'll be talking about them.

Join us at Streaming Media West in sunny L.A. at the end of this month! We look forward to meeting you.
