iBEAM Adds New Executive & Board Member

iBEAM Broadcasting (http://www.ibeam.com) made a series of executive announcements today.

It named former Silicon Graphics executive Andrew "Drew" Henry as its vice president of product marketing. Henry will be responsible for developing iBEAM's marketing and product management strategy.

iBEAM also announced the appointment of Barry Baker, president and chief operating officer of USA Networks, to its board of directors.

iBEAM announced it appointed three new members to its technical advisory board: Tony Werner, vice president of engineering and technical operations and chief technology officer for AT&T broadband & Internet services; Rod Perth, president of Jim Henson Television Group Worldwide; and Jon Kannegaard, senior vice president of Sun Microsystems Laboratories.

Recently iBEAM announced it has filed for an IPO.
