Hitplay Previews Its Entertainment Network

Hitplay Media (http://www.hitplay.com) gave a sneak peek at its new entertainment service today at the Yahoo! Online Film Festival.

"The launch of Hitplay.com is a giant first step in our goal to delivergreat entertainment video content across the Internet, around the world, andon multiple platforms," said Hitplay's Todd Harris. "Streaming video shouldbe fun and hassle-free, and that's how we designed Hitplay. And with our newentertainment alliances, we'll make Hitplay.com the first stop for a hungrybroadband audience."

Hitplay will have four content channels offering on-demand video clips, most under five minutes in length. They include the Entertainment, Action Sports, Music, and Fashion channel.

It will support speeds of 56Kbps to 300Kbps including Media Player, Real Video, andQuickTime.

CEO Todd Harris also announced a new advertising relationship andstrategic partnership with CMGI's Engage Technologies. Hitplay will utilizeEngage's ad-serving and profiling solutions for Hitplay's Targeted VideoNetwork.

"We're thrilled to partner with Engage, who will support our sales forceas we offer targeted rich media and integrated sponsorship opportunities,"said Harris. "Advertisers can have confidence in Hitplay's ability to delivervaluable, trend-setting viewers."
