Evoke Gets Into Wireless
Evoke (http://www.evoke.com) announced its mobile strategy today, to enable webconferencing to mobile devices.
Evoke said it will offer the first real-time, interactive, multipoint mobile Webconferencing application for the Palm OS Software.
"Mobile applications that exist today are either one-way informationretrieval or two-way delayed communication," said Paul Berberian, CEO of EvokeCommunications. "Our vision is to create and deliver real-time collaborativecommunication across any wireless device that makes sense. The Palmapplication is just the first step in allowing users to migrate seamlesslyfrom desktop to wireless and back to desktop."
Users will be able to initiate a conference, operate conference controls and begin a Webcast -- all using a mobile device.
