Aladdin Ships Mac Multi-Format Player
Aladdin Systems (http://www.aladdinsys.com) announced the availability of Aladdin Tuner 3.0, its Macintosh audio/video player that supports MP3s, CDs and has an Internet radio tuner.
MusicMatch makes a Mac jukebox, but the Macintosh market is sorely underrepresented compared to Windows players.
The Tuner builds on its predecessor, MacTuner, offering streaming support for Real, streaming QuickTime and Windows Media.
"The Internet has changed the face of the broadcast world, with AladdinTuner, we have put Mac users on the cutting edge of this evolution," saidJason Foodman, Director of Aladdin's Internet division. "We're very excited tooffer customers a unique solution for locating and listening to Internet radiostations worldwide."
Aladdin also adds support for a skin-based user interface so users can choose different looks to the player.
The software is available free for 30 days as a trial, then expires where it can be purchased for $29.95.
