RocketVox Teams with NeoInformatics

RocketVox (http://www.rocketvox.com) said it teamed up with content company NeoInformatics to create and distribute customized video applications.

The companies will combine RocketVox's library of gardening, home improvement and travel video with NeoInformatics' databases of subject specific content.

"The Web is primarily used as a utility platform and combining video withrelevant companion data makes the Web experience more compelling thantelevision," said Kelly Smith, founder and CEO of RocketVox. "By partneringwith NeoInformatics, we have both strengthened our ability to deliver animmersive streaming media experience for our customers that is contextuallyrelevant to their ecommerce initiatives."

RocketVox is a licensor of special interest video, while NeoInformatics develops databases, called NeoBases, that aggregate information from experts and enthusiasts in a variety of subject fields. Together,the two companies will create and distribute streaming videoapplications and databases to Web sites.
