YoNewYork.com Launches Video Entertainment Site

Yo Networks said today it launched YoNewYork.com (http://www.yonewyork.com) a local video entertainment/content site.

Every day, new 1-2 minute videos are posted on the site by a roving staff of video reporters who profile people, businesses, and events in the Big Apple.

"Most web-based video is directed at teens," said Doug Kilzer, COO and co-founder of Yo Networks. "Here's a site for the rest of us, with professionally produced locally relevant videos that will teach you something new or maybe make you laugh."

What about the failings of some other high profile entertainment sites? Kilzer brushes them off. "Yo Networks is part of a new generation of Internet companies that are emerging, running leaner and smarter than their predecessors," he said.

Kilzer, who comes from an advertising background, formed Yo Networks with now CEO Frank H. Murray. Yo Network plans to roll out other network affiliates by the end of the year.
