Be Here and Silver Planet To Debut New Immersive Film

Be Here (http://www.BeHere.com) and Silver Planet Studio Technologies ( http://www.SilverPlanet.com), a digital video production company dedicated to making entertainment for the web, announced the premiere of the 360-degree interactive film short entitled "Carny Tales'' . The film is the latest to join a new category of digital filmmaking dubbed "immersive movies" at the Cannes Film Festival by Be Here. These movies allow for a higher degree of interactivity, as the viewer can navigate throughout a scene while the movie plays using Be Here's iVideo technology.

The film will debut on-line beginning September 26th at www.BeHere.com. The Internet audience first experienced these new interactive movies as a result of Be Here's promotional contest with Atom Films.

"Since we unveiled the first immersive film this summer, 'The New Arrival,' we have seen an enormous interest in this new genre from both the film industry and audiences alike,'' said Andrew Thau, CEO of Be Here.

There are certain challenges to filming with 360-degree technology. For example, a viewer may miss the action if they are looking at the other side of the frame. Silver Planet productions has created a behind the scenes look at filming the "Carny Tales", a who-dunnit mystery that invites the viewer to search for clues, on its website . The studio used different techniques to make sure the viewer catches all of the action, such as employing mirrors and designing the set especially for the perspective of the BeHere camera.
