RealPlayer Goldpass to Feature NBA Action

A new multi-year agreement between The National Basketball Association (NBA) and RealNetworks will bring NBA action to RealPlayer GoldPass members.

Real Player GoldPass is a paid subscription service that provides members with access to exclusive programming and content, as well as a variety of software and services. RealNetworks announced this week that more than 150,000 consumers have now become paying subscribers to GoldPass since its introduction just five months ago.

Starting February 1, live Internet broadcasts of NBA.com TV, the league's 24-hour digital television network, and NBA.com Audio League Pass, a package of home and away audio feeds of every NBA game will be available to GoldPass subscribers. NBA.com TV combines real-time statistics, scores, and news from NBA.com, with live studio-based programming, live "look-ins" of games in progress, highlights, and vintage NBA games and programming.

Also under the agreement, RealNetworks will gain a heavy presence on the NBA.com site as the presenting sponsor of the "My Highlights" section, as well as being featured across other NBA assets including NBA.com TV and NBA programming.
