Brightcove and Ektron Expand Partnership for Marketers

Customers of both Brightcove and Ektron will appreciate that the two companies have expanded their partnership, bringing greater online video publishing options for online marketing campaigns.

Ektron is used by online marketers to build campaigns that combine Web content management, marketing optimization, and social software to create engaging online experiences for customers. By partnering with cloud-based online video platform Brightcove, it offers customers a way to incorporate branded video experiences into their online properties.

To use Brightcove's features, Ektron's customers need to download and install a Brightcove widget. They'll then be able to use Brightcove's media transcoding, management, and publishing tools from within the Ektron interface. Alternatively, customers can insert Brightcove's player embed codes into their sites manually to create more customized video experiences.

"This is an exciting partnership that makes it easy for customers to take advantage of the most advanced online video platform and Web content management system in a fully integrated way," says David Mendels, Brightcove president and chief operating officer. "Now thousands of marketers around the world can execute state-of-the-art video campaigns with the same efficiency as any other aspect of building and maintaining their websites and marketing campaigns."
