Qik Helps Skype Deliver Asynchronous and Synchronous Video

Following Skype's purchase earlier this year of Redwood City-based mobile video chat platform Qik, the combined company aims to deliver both live video calling and delivered video messages, covering both asynchronous and synchronous communications on a global basis, says Qik co-founderBhaskar Roy in this interview with Beet.TV

We spoke with him via Skype Video.

Last week, the company announced that its mobile video app was interoperable between the Apple iOS and Android platforms.
