Stickam Releases iPad App for Live Video Streaming

Live streaming video network Stickam released a native iPad app today at the BlogWorld Expo in Los Angeles. Using the free app, the site's 9 million members can stream live video from Stickam channels.

Besides viewing live stream, the app lets users live chat with friends or fans. Viewers can also invite others to watch a stream from within the app.

Users can stream video from their iPads with the app, as well, letting them share whatever they're doing with others on the site.

The app is compatible with both the original iPad and the iPad 2. It runs on iOS version 4.3 and above.

Stickam launched in 2005, and includes professional programming from MTV, G4, CBS Radio, CES, and more. The site allows users to embed a streaming feed onto other websites.

The BlogWorld Expo is meant for bloggers who want to learn how to create better content for their blogs, grow their brands and audiences, and make money from their work.
