Biographical Information
Ms. Arcelus specializes in applying economics, finance, and information technology to problems in business litigation. In her 16 years at Analysis Group, she has managed many high-profile litigation projects in various technology-intensive industries, such as biotechnology and computer hardware and software. Her litigation experience includes management of all aspects of pretrial discovery, development of economic and financial computer models to analyze damages, critique of opposing experts, report preparation, and deposition and trial support. Most recently, she managed the firm’s efforts on behalf of Microsoft in its multiple class action overcharge cases; Microsoft’s Netscape, Sun, and Burst antitrust litigations; and on behalf of Ortho Biotech in its Amgen antitrust litigation. She has also played a key role in a number of intellectual property disputes, quantifying lost profits and calculating appropriate royalty rates and prejudgment interest, including The Regents of the University of California v. Genentech. Ms. Arcelus earned her Science Master from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
