Scott Strimple
Producer/Director, Cinema Aerial Visuals
Capt. Scott Strimple is an Airbus captain for United Airlines and an FAA check airman with more than 25,000 flight hours. Scott is among the most highly respected subject matter experts in small UA flight operations and is actively engaged in the process of defining sUA pilot certification standards, training requirements, and standards for operations over people that will influence the framework for regulation within the U.S. and abroad. He has over 40 years’ experience with radio control aircraft and and provides flight training across the country. In addition to his aviation experience, Scott is a director and Emmy award-winning filmmaker who is known for his expertise and teaching within the aerial photography and filmmaking arena. He is a frequent speaker on sUAS operations at film and photo industry events around the country.
