480i

An interlaced display resolution that uses is measured by the number of vertical lines or pixels (480) and often uses a 16:9 aspect ratio but can also use a 4:3 aspect ratio. 480i, or interlaced, is available at a variety of frame and field rates, although 480p or progressive is not used (unlike 1080 which has both interlaced [i] and progressive [p])
