Animated GIF

A type of animation that uses multiple GIF picture files in rapid succession to simulate movement. Unlike Java, Dynamic HTML, or Shockwave, creating animated GIFs does not require high-level programming or design skills. Some examples of animated GIFs are moving logos and bouncing balls on a Web site.
