Composite

The lowest common denominator of baseband video signaling, composite cabling carries all three portions of the color space (red, green, blue) on a single cable. The least costly approach to baseband signaling and cabling, but also the lowest quality, due to interference and crosstalk on a single unshielded cable. Shielded coaxial cabling can be used to lessen crosstalk, at least across short cable runs.
