An industry-led consortium committed to designing open technical standards for the global delivery of digital television and data services. Membership in the DVB is comprised of more than 200 broadcasters, manufacturers, network operators, software developers, and regulatory bodies in 35 countries. DVB, in its various forms, is currently used for satellite, cable, terrestrial and IP-based services.
