Acronym:Digital Visual Interface
Digital Visual Interface is a video display interface that uses a 28-pin connector to send either single-link or dual-link digital signals (DVI-D) with an optional analog (DVI-A) VGA connector. The specification, created byt the Digital Display Working Group (DDWG), also allows for an integrated single- or dual-link with VGA (DVI-I) male connector which will not fit on DVI-D female receptacles.
