Acronym:Interational Standards Organisation
Interational Standards Organisation is the world's largest developer and publisher of international standards, ISO ((nternational Organization for Standardization) is a network of national standards institutes for 164 countries. Based in Geneva with the United Nation's Central Secretariat, with one member per country, ISO is an NGO (non-governmental organization) bridging public and private sectors: while many member institutes are part of the governmental structure of their countries, or mandated by their government, other members have their roots uniquely in the private sector, having been set up by national partnerships of industry associations.
