All Mobile Video Enters into Agreement to Acquire AEG Digital Media Expanded Company to be Called AMV Digital Media

All Mobile Video (AMV) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with AEG to purchase AEG Digital Media (AEGDM), the premiere end to end digital broadcast services business based in Los Angeles, CA.
Combining the experience and assets of All Mobile Video with L.A.-based AEGDM’s holdings including its Online Broadcast Center and recent facility expansion in Madrid, Spain with AMV’s facilities in New York City and Dallas, TX, this agreement will expand the new organization’s technical capacities, allowing full redundancy in acquisition, encoding and transport services. These additional POP locations will provide content providers more acquisition options while maintaining the highest broadcast standards for quality and reliability AEGDM is known for in the industry.
Since its inception in October, 2009, AEGDM has taken the lead in providing full time, live linear, TV Everywhere streaming services to programmers, broadcasters and OVP’s in addition to continuing to build their ad-hoc event streaming, software and product portfolio.
While expanding its event and full-time services, AMV Digital Media will be making significant investments in their software platform. Building on the industry leading Live Experience Platform, which includes the Tremolo multi-angle player and the MC interactive event software, All Mobile Video Digital Media will offer enhanced support of event automation, multiple-event service platforms, and client configured event portals.

The company also announced that Joe Einstein, who has served as served as AEGDM’s Vice President, Operations for the past 5 years would continue in that role for the new venture.

This expansion will bring AMV Digital Media acquisition capacity to 70 antennas, over 100 fiber circuits, production and uplink trucks, and in-house space segment. This will allow for the only true in-house “end to end” facilities solution in the online video market.
The transaction is expected to close in the next thirty days.
