Applicaster, Leading Provider of Cross-Screen TV Apps, Announces $10.5M Funding
Funding supports further global expansion and establishing of European and North American offices.

Applicaster, leading provider of Cross-Screen TV apps announces today Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to date to $18.5M. The round was led by Pitango Venture Capital with participation of current investor, 83North (Formerly Greylock IL).

To date, Applicaster has launched over 100 applications for over 40 customers around the world, viewed and touched by millions of people. Its offering provides versatile tools for Tier-1 commercial broadcasters, and the right strategies for pay TV channels, Cable Cos and YouTube stars. Customers include Univision, Endemol, FremantleMedia, Talpa, Mediaset, Televisa, Telefe, Fox Intl, Mediacorp, and many more. Applicaster’s scalable solutions seamlessly integrate into current broadcaster workflows, and serve to increase engagement with TV content and promoted brands with transmedia, social TV, second screen and gamification activities.
