John brings a wealth of experience in strategic marketing, business growth, and organizational leadership, providing invaluable guidance as Bitcentral continues its leadership in modernizing media workflows and expanding market reach.
John’s distinguished career spans over three decades, marked by senior leadership roles at several Fortune 100 companies and now as a growth advisor to innovative technology companies. Most recently, during his tenure as a Board Chairman of Waymark, a pioneering AI platform for customizable video content, he played a critical role in the company’s pivot to an AI-based offering instrumental to driving scale and securing key enterprise partnerships. His deep understanding of the growing demand for digital video as the preferred communication medium and his ability to align business needs with innovative solutions were instrumental in Waymark’s successful expansion into the enterprise space.

Over John’s career, he’s consistently helped firms identify and execute strategic pivots essential to unlocking new growth. Prior to his current activities as a technology advisor and board member, John had a successful career as a Fortune 500 Chief Marketing Officer with major successes at Conduent, Xerox and IBM.

John Kennedy holds an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also sits on the board of the American Marketing Association.
